Zenefits is a mix of different companies trying to function as one. Each part is managed by a separate entity.

In the first 6 weeks, I ran into problems with the setup, and I didn’t get any compensation or even an apology.

They give me less than a day (approval by the next business day at 2:00 p.m.) to check timecards and handle payroll. If a holiday pops up, it’s almost impossible to finish the week and pay my staff on time. Yet, they’re quick to take my funds, which makes me think they’re raking in a lot from the interest on their clients' cash.

I can’t even put them in the same league as ADP and Paychex, but sadly, I’m stuck in this contract for a long while. I really wouldn’t recommend going with Zenefits.

Zenefits is a conglomerate of various companies attempting to operate as a single entity. Each module is overseen by a different company.

If there happens to be a holiday, it becomes nearly impossible to complete the week and pay my employees on their designated payday. However, they promptly deduct my funds, leading me to suspect that they profit significantly from the interest earned on their clients' money.

I cannot even compare them to ADP and Paychex, but unfortunately, I am bound by this contract for a considerable period of time. I strongly advise against choosing Zenefits.

What a nightmare! Zenefits created issues with my job. The customer manager from ClubZen/Trinet Zenefits claimed I hadn’t finished the trainings and took away the reward points I had earned. I tried to tell her that I had completed those trainings before I even joined ClubZen. I even passed the professional exam from Zenefits before starting. But she wouldn’t listen and said there was no record of it, then went ahead and snatched my reward points. I reached out to Zenefits' customer service to sort it out, but instead of getting help, they lodged a complaint against me with my employer, which caused me a lot of hassle. I had to take a day off work to deal with this mess that Zenefits created. Zenefits is just the worst!

Terrible experience. Zenefits caused problems with my employer. I attempted to resolve the issue with Zenefits' customer care, but instead of helping, they filed a complaint against me with my employer, resulting in trouble for me. I had to take a day off to address this problem caused by Zenefits. Zenefits is terrible!

For more than six years, Zenefits has been a stellar ally, helping our crew grow in both size and location. It makes payroll a breeze and works smoothly with our benefits, time off, hiring, and scheduling systems.

Zenefits is truly one of the worst HR platforms I've ever had the bad luck to deal with. It's super confusing and doesn't offer any real customization options to speak of. Most of the tasks in the system are done manually, which is a real hassle. On top of that, the reporting tool is unbelievably inaccurate, making it tough to trust for reliable data. Trying to whip up detailed custom reports is a total headache, leading to a lot of unnecessary stress. Plus, the lack of a data migration feature is a big issue, making it really tough for businesses that are merging or switching from another system to Zenefits. To top it all off, our Account Manager is hardly ever helpful and seriously lacks basic customer service skills.

Getting in touch with Zenefits is a real challenge when you've got urgent issues. Sometimes, it can take up to two months for them to reply to something that needs quick attention, and they don’t give any helpful info about compliance and management. It’s super annoying when there are changes that need to be highlighted, but they just don’t catch them in their system. Rather than providing the right help, they just send you to an FAQ page that often has old instructions.

Zenefits is incredibly difficult to get in touch with when you have urgent matters. It can take them as long as 2 months to respond to a time-sensitive inquiry, and they provide absolutely no proactive information regarding compliance and management. This is especially frustrating when certain changes should be brought to their attention, but they fail to flag them in their system. Instead of offering proper assistance, they simply direct you to an FAQ page that frequently contains outdated instructions.

We used to depend on an accounting firm for payroll, but since we brought Zenefits in-house, everything's been a lot easier. Plus, it has really enhanced how we onboard new hires and contractors. Now, we deal with way fewer payroll errors and spend a lot less time sorting through documents and emails during onboarding. The time we’ve saved totally makes up for what we spent on bringing Zenefits into our organization.

We used to rely on an accounting firm to handle our payroll, but ever since we switched to using Zenefits in-house, the whole experience has become much simpler. Additionally, it has greatly improved our onboarding procedures for both new employees and contractors. We now encounter fewer mistakes in payroll and spend significantly less time dealing with various documents and email attachments during the onboarding process. The time saved has far outweighed the cost of incorporating Zenefits into our organization.

The Zenefits platform stands out as one of the finest software experiences we've ever had in HR/Payroll. We've seen demos of other systems that just don't compare.

That said, I gotta point out that the customer service could use some work. It can be pretty slow when it comes to handling important tax questions, getting answers to simple inquiries, or even helping with the onboarding process.

The Zenefits platform is undoubtedly one of the most exceptional software experiences we have ever encountered for HR/Payroll. We have witnessed demonstrations of other systems that simply cannot measure up.

However, it is worth mentioning that the customer service aspect can be lacking. It can be frustratingly sluggish when it comes to addressing crucial tax inquiries, obtaining responses to basic questions, or even facilitating the onboarding process.

Zenefits works wonders for small enterprises, but I can't speak to how it fits larger companies since we're just a small non-profit theater group. Their website is really well-organized and super easy to get around. The platform is quite user-friendly, making it a piece of cake to onboard new employees. Customer service? It's top-tier, always getting back to me within a business day, if not quicker. Reaching out to them is a breeze, whether by email, phone, or their online chat. The Client Advocate Center is quick to help with any questions or issues, making everything run smoothly. Plus, there's a handy online self-help tool for extra support.

This HRIS is a simple and intuitive tool made for smaller firms. We mainly use it for onboarding new hires and managing benefits, but it also has a bunch of other HR features. As a small business with between 50 and 100 staff members, it’s been working well for us so far. That said, just like any other system, it needs some human oversight, regular updates, and its effectiveness really hinges on how well the user engages with it. We’ve been on this system since 2016, and overall, I’d give it a solid 5 stars.

As a small company with a workforce ranging from 50 to 100 employees, it has been functioning effectively thus far. However, it is important to note that like any other system, it necessitates human review, regular updates, and its usefulness and benefits depend on the user's input. We have been using this system since 2016 and, overall, I would rate it with 5 stars.
